Great fit! Finally a uniform pant which does not fit like a man's pants. Plan on exchanging these until you figure out your size - but after that you're good. Received my order in only 3 days so the service is great too!

I received these and a pair of proppers today. Everyone is shaped differently but for me.. these ran small..The proppers fit perfectly. These also felt lightweight compared to the proppers. I would recommend if your a woman with more hips, theighs and butt then you should go with the proppers they were roomy or if you try these order a size up.

I have to say thease pants are very comfortable as long as you order them at least two sizes bigger than you whear. I am a size 4 and almost 6 feet tall I have a size 8 and had no problem with the length just got unhemmed. However the buttons did pop off not even a week after I bought them also I did not like that the glove pocket is on top of the cargo pocket. Wish it was lower on the leg.Other than that they have held there color in the wash and I like that they do not have pegged legs.

I really love the way these pants fit, they hold their color and look very nice. I am a size 6 and the size 10 pants fit me perfectly. However, I have a very long inseam (34") and I buy these pants unhemmed. They are just barely the right length unhemmed, so having them hemmed even just a little bit will make them too short. The button on the pants has popped off all four pairs I have bought only days after recieving them. Not really a big deal since sewing on a button is easy, but its rather annoying. If they could fix the length problem these would be the perfect pants!

I don't agree with your comments Kelley. We have all of our women wearing these pants and all love the way they fit. We called FireStore customer service and Julie was very helpful - she was able to give us the exact waist measurements and we only had to exchange one pair out of a dozen.
The pants have a good cut for working. They sit lower on the waist than the Propper brand plus they seem to wash better and hold their color.
Kelley it sounds like you should visit a tailor if you have that much trouble or call for help!

Seriously consider whether it's worth the hassle and expense to buy these pants. I'm a size 4 with a narrow waist, went three sizes up and I'm still sending them back. Not quite right and I'm worried the next size up won't be either given what I've read about the minimal differences between sizes.
I'm sure they're great if you can find a size that fits, but the waist is ridiculously small and you'll be spending more on a tailor than they cost in the first place. How hard is it to figure out what a typical woman's proportions are? They must have used an 11 year old girl as their standard.
I'm rather sorry I bothered trying these.

I got these pants half way through paramedic school after the seat of my Proppers went out lifting a cot.
I got a size 14 (which is about a 36 waist). I think I meant to get a size 12 (normally I'm a 8-10). I love the pants even though they're a little too big. I'm coming back to try a size or two smaller. The color stays great even wearing and washing a ton. They were a little sweaty in Oklahoma's humid summer, but I think that goes with the emt pants territory (or the fact that they were too big).

Ok, the sizing thing is a little annoying at first but once you figure it out you're good to go. I normally wear a size 4 but ended up in a size 10. The size 10 waist measures a 29 1/2 inches.
I got a few pair of these pants a year ago and they are still holding up great and colors still good. My partner purchase too and loves them

Sizing tips

My friend and I both ordered a pair of these pants. I ordered a size 6 and she a 4. The 6 didn't fit either one of us so I pulled out the measuring tape. Around the waist, the 6 measured 28 inches and the 4 measured 27. So every two sizes the pants will add an inch to the waist. So, some guess measurements are 8 = 29, 10 = 30, 12 = 31, etc. I'm going to order another pair and hopefully those will fit. I did like the material and thought the overall quality was good, just hope I can find some that fit!

AGAIN, SIZING WAY OFF!
(Unknown)
2/25/2010 8:42 PM
After reading the warnings, I purchased 2/3 sizes larger than normal, but they still don't fit. I'm normally a 6 or 8 depending on the jeans so I bought 12, but couldn't get them on...

Beware of Sizing though

I ordered these pants a year ago and they hold up great! I'm back to order more. But beware they are tight in the waist. I normally wear a 2 and had to get a 6 before they fit enough for me to tuck my shirt in. The return process was VERY easy just be sure to follow the instructions exactly!

Finally a pant that fits!

After searching high and low I have finally found a pant that FITS! I am petite and somewhat curvy and this is the perfect pair of pants. NEVER fades, holds up great, but again the sizing is way off..order a pair at least 3 sizes up. The waist tends to be a bit small but if you order them big enough it will compensate. I have recommend this pant to a lot of people. If you are looking for a true low rise, this is the one. LOVE THEM!!

Well, I always have a hard time with ordering pants because I am petite in height and have a slightly curvy body. I got my EMS pants in yesterday and of course they were too small in the waist. I did like the way they looked and the feel of them and I'll have to cut a foot off of them. I ordered 3 sizes bigger cause I normally wear a 9 and I ordered a 12 and they were still too small. Due to everyone else I guess I am gonna have to order 3 more sizes bigger to also be able to tuck my shirt in. I am in the process of exchanging so we'll see how this goes when I order a bigger size.

I received the pants and they are really nice but the sizing is way off! I order 2 sizes larger as advised and I feel I need to up the size 2 more times. I am still trying to get an exchange transaction completed all though.

Sizing is way off!

Great pants, however sizing took me 3 tries to figure out. I wear a 4 in any other pair of pants on this planet, and I had to try three times to get them to fit and ended up with a size 10!
Will definitely order again, just wish I knew they ran so small!

The women's EMT low rise pants are awesome! Finally there is a pair of EMT pants for women that actually fit! I would definitely recommend! They are a petite fit, so order 2 sizes larger than normal.

These pants fit wonderfully. They hold up well under stress, and look good. The waist is actually low rise and the fit thru the hips is cut well. My only complaint is that I wish they made them in black. My company prefers black uniforms. In the meantime, I will continue to buy blue.

I purchased a pair to try a few months ago to see if I liked them. Well, after washing them about 20 times and the color is holding up really good, better than my issued pants. The waist is low on these and very comfortable. I am buying more!!

I have tried all of the various "women's" emt pants on the market, from Propper and the rest. I hated the fit because it made the waist so high and the cut was bad. These pants are GREAT! The waist is low rise, but not too low to be tacky. The cut in the hips and thighs is just right to allow bending but be flattering at the same time. My department is buying these for all women next budget year, but in the meantime I'll pay for my own!
